1. Remember what truly matters.

If you have a spouse, mate or partner that loves your body and family and friends that love you, that is all that matters. When you’re getting ready to walk out in public in what seems like an inordinately small strip of fabric, just take a deep breath and remind yourself of what really matters.
2. Remember that everyone else feels the same way.
While it may be hard to believe that a supermodel that graces the covers of the some of the most prestigious international magazines could ever feel awkward and uncomfortable in a swimsuit, it’s actually true. One thing to keep in mind is that no matter what someone looks like to you, they are probably every bit as insecure about their body as you are. Feeling good in a swimsuit is more about feeling good about yourself than it is about how you actually look. While very few people will feel great (for long) in a swimsuit, Many people with glaringly imperfect bodies can still feel pretty okay about themselves. Eating healthy is one way of taking care of your body, and you will most likely feel much better about something that you work hard to take good care of.
