Ok, so this is an easy fix for me and it didn’t take long to figure out…

all I had to do to stop the script from loading into the admin area was to move line 1 in your script ( add_action(‘template_redirect’, ‘js_head_load’); ) AFTER the js_head_load function…

for some reason the “template_redirect” function was loading the script into the admin section.

all is working well for me now, great post, very helpful!

I tried your approach to adding the Google Code Jquery version to a theme I am developing and for some strange reason, my WP Admin is having some serious issues… every time I tried submitting a post, or anything like that, i would get a blank page.

Have you come across this before while doing your tests??
